Initial Servicing, Installation (fitting to walls) and Certification of your new Fire Fighting Equipment
Most companies will need to make use of this service, unless you have your own internally trained extinguisher maintenance engineers.
Following delivery your equipment will be checked for damage and initially serviced prior to installation. This will include checking of gauges, external inspection and attachment of a service label. Our engineer will then site the equipment dependant on risk and in accordance with BS5306 pt 8 fitting it to the wall or placing equipment on stands.
In addition, don’t worry if you have selected the wrong type or size of extinguisher when you ordered. Our engineers carry a full stock at all times and we will exchange units for the correct type (subject to availability). Only the difference between what you have already paid and the replacement equipment will be charged/ or credited as appropriate. No restocking charges- Just peace of mind. In exceptional circumstances where we do not have the required exchange units, we reserve the right to make an additional call out charge for the return visit.

If you choose any of these options, one of our Service Technicians will contact you shortly after your delivery to agree a suitable installation date. Our engineer will complete the work which you have ordered, which includes initial servicing, labeling of the equipment, fitting to walls and the issuing of your certificate.
Annual Service
Your equipment should be serviced periodically by a competent person and during the checkout process you will be asked if you would like a quote for this option. We can also easily adopt your current existing service arrangements if the equipment you are ordering is to supplement existing fire fighting equipment.
Site Surveys
In order to keep your costs low we can generally make small adjustments to the quantity and type of equipment as described earlier when our engineer arrives. If we do need to return for any reason then an additional call out charge might be made. We can discuss this with you if it arises at the time our engineer calls.
